Drissa, 8 years old and in third grade, lives with his parents and two siblings in a rented room on the roof of a ready-made house. The house is life-threatening, there is no barrier anywhere. The father works in a factory, the mother runs the household. Two children go to school, the third is still small. Drissa has a uniform, but no shoes. The family eats three times a day. The talented little boy loves grammar, including conjugation. He also likes to play ball (bomber, as he tells it) and soccer. His favorite team is Real Madrid. When he is not playing, he helps with the cleaning. He studies in the evenings, by his own admission, "he doesn't have enough time to study." He wants to be a police officer. He wants textbooks.
A 8 éves, harmadikos Drissa a szüleivel és két testvérével él egy szerkezetkész ház tetején lévő, bérelt szobában. A ház életveszélyes, sehol egy korlát. Az apa gyárban dolgozik, az anya a háztartást vezeti. Két gyerek jár iskolába, a harmadik még kicsi. Drissának egyenruhája van, cipője azonban nincs. Naponta háromszor eszik a család. A jó képességű kisfiú szereti a nyelvtant, azon belül is az igeragozást. Szeret golyózást is játszani (kibombázóst, ahogy elmeséli) és focizni. Kedvenc csapata a Real Madrid. Ha nem játszik takarítani segít. Esténként tanul, saját bevallása szerint "nincs elég ideje tanulni." Rendőr szeretne lenni. Tankönyvekre vágyik.

La maison met la vie en danger, il n'y a aucune barrière nulle part. Le père travaille dans une usine, la mère dirige le ménage. Deux enfants vont à l'école, le troisième est encore petit. Drissa a un uniforme, mais pas de chaussures. La famille mange trois fois par jour. Le talentueux petit garçon adore la grammaire, y compris la conjugaison. Il aime aussi jouer au ballon (bombardier, comme il le dit) et au football. Son équipe préférée est le Real Madrid. Quand il ne joue pas, il aide au ménage. Il étudie le soir, de son propre aveu, "il n'a pas assez de temps pour étudier". Il veut être policier. Il veut des manuels.
